Embroidery our minimum for stock designs is 24 pieces, which can be divided into 2 groups of 12 pieces. (Please note to get State and city name drop you must order 24 piece per design otherwise on 12 piece orders, state name drop only.)
Combination prints such as screen-embroidered or embossed-embroidered are 24 piece minimum per design.
Screen printed designs are 24 piece minimum.
Embossing is a 24 piece minimum.
Candles are $300.00 opening order.
Turnaround time:
Orders are generally shipped within 2 weeks. Reorders are 7 day turn for garments we carry in our warehouse. If garments are not stocked, turn time in 10-14 days. Exceptions are new artwork, special ordered garments, or custom labels.
Changing Designs:
Designs maybe modified or changed based on approval of our art director.
Most designs are available with or without name drops. Please ask your rep if you have questions.
Custom Designing:
We do custom printing in all areas of our business along with the over 10,000 designs library we carry. We have 3 on staff artists and offer a wide variety of skills in the art department. We can take you logo and translate that onto a garment.
Shipping:
We ship UPS unless the customer requests another carrier. Shipping is billed on your invoice. If LTL carrier is used shipment is sent collect on the freight.
Payment Options:
T. R. McTaggart offers Net 30 terms to customers with approved credit. We also accept all major credit cards.
Return Policy:
We accept returns on defective merchandise for up to 30 days with approval from our customer service department.
Artwork guidelines
T.R. McTaggart’s goal is to provide the highest quality product possible. To help us better serve you we have specified a few guidelines to insure top quality service. Artwork maybe e-mailed to artdept@trmctaggart.com for review. Once the art is reviewed, it will be forwarded to the corresponding salesperson or customer service. The Art Department cannot begin any art until an order is placed.
General Information
Any art submitted (such as business cards, letterhead, drawings, etc.) should be clean black and white or color print, free of ink marks, staples and tape. Any notations that need to be made to the art should be made on a copy of the original. When submitting hand-drawn art the original is preferred. All art will be returned.
An approval will be sent for all custom designs. A signature or an emailed approval is required before any garments can be produced. Custom embroidery designs require a sewn swatch approval also.
T. R. McTaggart also has a four-color process screen printing available.
Unacceptable Art
Art that has been copied or faxed. This distorts the art especially if it has been copied or faxed more then once. Copies of a logo on a T-Shirt are not recommended, the actual T-shirt is preferred. T.R. McTaggart will not reproduce copyrighted art unless there is written permission.
Preferred Digital Art Requirements
Photoshop 7.0 (.PSD, .TIFF, .BMP or .JPEG) * For a quality image these should be 300dpi or higher resolution.

Illustrator 7.0 (.AI or .EPS)

Internet graphics are unacceptable because of low resolution and can only be used as a reference.
Embroidery Art
All the above requirements apply to embroidered art. Due to size restrictions with embroidery, art may be simplified, rearranged and /or enlarged. Typesetting under 5mm is not recommended and T.R. McTaggart can not guarantee its quality.
